Mulberry rose champagne cocktail is a delicious spring cocktail with a floral note from rosewater and deep rich fruit and spice elements from spiced mulberry shrub, combined with effervescent champagne bubbles. A sugar cube soaked in rose water introduces the delicate floral rose flavour into the drink along with a garnish of edible rose petals and a fresh mulberry. Spiced mulberry shrub features a complex spice blend that includes pink pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, coriander, blood orange, lemon balm and thyme.
Enjoy this mulberry rose champagne cocktail with a piece of spiced raw cacao halva with pistachios, ginger, cardamom and rose for a perfect dessert, or solo as a floral aperitif with a luscious fruit and spice undertone.
When the shrub is mixed with the champagne the fresh mulberry garnish does a lovely spin over and over propelled by the champagne bubbles – gorgeous to watch – as is the rich deep red-pink colour of this drink.
